Shiraishi Island
There are a lot of beauty spots, such as the armor rocks, designated as a natural treasure. This area is abounding with visitors who enjoy marine sports, including sea bathing and sea kayaking.
Maejima Island

In Maejima Island, in front of the Ushimado harbor, training programs and accommodations are available. Marine sports are also available. Setouchi City
Ushimado
Warm and scenic, this seaside city is called the Aegean Sea of Japan. This city is a resort dotted with sites such as a yacht harbor, an olive garden, and swimming beaches.
Ojigatake Hill

Ojigatake is one of the most picturesque places, with a full view of the Seto Inland Sea, and has a great number of massive, oddly shaped granite formations. A flight point for paragliding is located at the top of the hill.
Shibukawa Beach

The largest swimming beach in Okayama Prefecture selected as one of the 100 best beaches in Japan. This beach is full with sea-goers in summer.
Kurashiki Bikan Area
A cityscape with white walls extending along the Kurashiki River. It is designated by the government as a historic building preservation area.
Hiruzen Heights
One of the major highland resorts in western Japan, this place is famous for grazing of Jersey cattle.
Miyama Park
There are about 7,000 cherry trees, and 300 types of flowers and trees. These include azaleas, hydrangeas, pond lilies, and plum trees, numbering over 150,000, all in the 200 hectares of this park.
