Bitchu Takahashi Matsuyama-odori Dance

This is a traditional Takahashi City dance that has been performed for over 380 years. Dancers wear woven hats, informal cotton kimonos for summer (yukata), and white Japanese toe socks (tabi). The festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, and everyone is welcome to join in the dance.
