Places in connection with Momotaro (Peach Boy) and historic sites are interspersed along the cycling road.

It is said that Momotaro is based on this shrine. The best part is the 360 m long large corridor. Draw an omikuji (a written fortune) at the vending machine with the illustration of Momotaro printed to tell your fortune. (Translation in English is printed on the omikuji.)

Many historic sites, including Bitchu Kokubun-ji Temple, the five-story pagoda, Kibitsu-jinja Shrine, and Tsukuriyama-kofun burial mound which are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, are interspersed.

This is a varied ravine of which the total length is 3 km. There are many good places to see including the pothole which is the largest in Asia. Enjoy seasonal changes in the scenery. Strolling on the promenade is recommended.
