Tsuruga Castle

Tsuruga Castle is said to have begun about 630 years ago when Naomori Ashina built its predecessor, Higashi Kurokawakan, and is a famous castle that withstood a fierce battle of battle that lasted about a month during the Boshin War. As such, he made his name known throughout the world. The inside of the castle tower is a museum where you can experience the history of Aizu. It is the only existing castle tower in Japan with red tiles.
