Okayama Takashimaya, directly connected to the east exit of Okayama Station, is a department store operated by Takashimaya Co., Ltd. It carries a wide range of products including fashion, cosmetics, food, and gifts, and its basement food hall offers local Okayama specialties and souvenirs. With restaurants and cafes on-site, it's a highly convenient commercial facility where visitors can enjoy shopping and dining in one place, making it popular with many. This department store opened to coincide with the opening of the Shinkansen line between Shin- Osaka and Okayama.
