Niimi Art Museum

Japan, 718-0017 361 Nishigata, Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture

It was opened with approximately 350 works of art donated by Mr. Masahiro Yokouchi (deceased), a local native, and currently has a collection of over 1,100 works. The approximately 80 works by the literati painter Tomioka Tessai, who are at the center of this collection, have received high acclaim. In addition, we collect and display modern and contemporary Japanese paintings, works by Western painters and craftsmen with ties to the local area, and hold various exhibitions throughout the year.
