Ukan Gorge

The Ukanawa River, a tributary of the Asahikawa River, has become extremely narrow, and the torrential flow has carved the rocks, creating a mountain landscape with strangely shaped rocks, as well as seasonal expressions such as maples, maples, and sumac. The autumn leaves are especially spectacular, and highlights include the symbolic ``Red Bridge'' and the senryu path. Designated as Kibi Seiryu Prefectural Natural Park.
