Bizen Pottery Festival

This event is held in the birthplace of Bizen Pottery, a type of pottery that has been certified as a Japanese Heritage. It is held every year on the third Sunday of October and the Saturday before, and is a major Bizen Pottery event. Approximately 100,000 pottery enthusiasts gather over the two days, and the whole town becomes lively. In the stores and special venues of Bizen Pottery Pottery Association members, products of the Association are displayed and sold at a 20% discount off the regular price.
