Iwagami Shrine

Iwagami Shrine, located in the Sobun district of Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture , enshrines Okuninushi-no-Mikoto as its deity, with a group of massive rocks enshrined Oku the main hall serving as its sacred object. The sacred object is a massive rock, approximately 5 meters in size, supported by only a few points of contact, and is called "Yurugi-iwa" (Shaky Rock) because it seems as if it will fall but never does. It is a mystery that something so large can be shaken by human hands. Because it seems as if it will fall but never does, it has also become a popular power spot for students taking exams.
