The entire southern coast of Okayama faces the Setonaikai (The Inland Sea), and Ushimado and Mt. Washuzan are especially enjoyable tourist destinations with beautiful landscapes.

When and where can fruits be eaten?

Okayama is known as the “Fruit Kingdom,” and visitors can enjoy peaches from early July to early September as well as grapes from late August to mid-November. Visitors can also find fruits in various locations, including station shops, department stores, and restaurants. Peach picking and grape picking are also popular.
