Koeido Kurashiki Rooster Store

At "Koei-do Kurashiki-ten," they had a display of 81-year-old Hina dolls inside the shop. There was a long queue outside the shop! It made me want to wait in line to check it out lol. They were demonstrating and selling freshly baked Long Chofu, and it was hot and delicious! It was worth waiting in line.

Ozakiya

Bizen ware Hina dolls were displayed inside the fish Bizen Pottery shop "Ozakiya." I saw many people eating cute dumplings in front of the store, so I decided to buy some myself! They mainly sell chikuwa (fish cakes) but also have a Toyotomi of sweets, and the delicious aroma inside the store whetted my appetite even while waiting in line. I bought some omikuji dango (500 yen including tax) that came with a love fortune. The design was somehow exciting, the taste was delicious, and you get a marshmallow at the end. The fortune was also authentic, lol. I asked a couple who were buying some if I could take a photo with them.

Swelling and rash

We also queued up in search of the chocolate sandwich, a must-try for chocolate lovers! The sweets at "Hare Mo Kemo" are gluten-free and made with as few animal-derived ingredients as possible (suitable for vegans), but they were also substantial and satisfying, with the cookie dough having just the right firmness. The ingredients are apparently also sourced locally from Okayama and Kurashiki. Chocolate terrine sandwich (486 yen including tax).
